A helicopter soaring above a well-attended California coastline abruptly commenced twirling wildly, eventually losing altitude and crashing into a line of palm groves as beachgoers watched.
Videos shared on social media show the helicopter commencing to spiral near Huntington Beach then plunging near the perimeter of the shore, where it gets stuck between palm groves and a set of stairs near the Pacific Coast highway.
Emergency Response Details
Emergency responders said five people were taken to hospital involving two who were in the helicopter and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” after the crash on that day.
Three individuals on the pavement were harmed. Details on their injuries were not yet released.
The cause of the crash was still under investigation.
